In 2025, Norway will provide the largest military aid package in its history. This includes an amount for Ukraine exceeding 2 billion euros, according to the Facebook post of Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

"In 2025, Norway will allocate its largest military aid package in history — over 2 billion euros — for Ukraine. These agreements will elevate our cooperation to a new level," Umerov explained.

He noted that, together with Norway's Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram, they focused on strengthening air defense systems.

"Additionally, Norway will continue investing in Ukraine's defense-industrial complex and joint projects, particularly in ammunition production. We discussed a new cooperation mechanism — the Norwegian model, which will complement the successful Danish model and enhance our defense capabilities," the minister emphasized.

Last month it was announced that Norway would allocate funds for military aid to Ukraine.

The funding will be channeled through the International Fund for Ukraine, led by the UK Ministry of Defence.

We also reported that Norway is one of Ukraine's key allies. In November, Norway’s parliamentary parties agreed to allocate $3.2 billion to support Ukraine in 2025.
