North Korean soldiers moved from Far East to depths of Russia
North Korean soldiers stationed in Russia have been moved. They could be deployed deep into the territory of Russia, says Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.
“There is a movement of the DPRK military from the Russian Far East into Russia. Russia plans to use the Koreans first in the Kursk region,” Kovalenko says.
According to the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budnov, Russia is going to send the North Korean military to the Kursk region on Wednesday, October 23.
DPRK sends soldiers to Russia
North Korea has sent its soldiers to Russia, who, according to intelligence reports, are to take part in hostilities against Ukraine. The DPRK soldiers were trained at four training grounds in the Russian Far East.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, North Korea could have sent 11,000 troops to Russia. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, North Korea can train two brigades of 6,000 soldiers each.
Budanov said that North Korea had sent missiles and people to Russia to receive technology for tactical nuclear weapons in exchange.
