DPRK troops in Russia

The North Korean military has been involved in the war against Ukraine lately. According to various sources, there were 10 to 12 thousand DPRK troops in Russia at the time.

North Korea sent its soldiers to support Russian operations, specifically on the frontline in the Kursk region. The servicemen are operating under the guise of the Russian military, which indicates Moscow's attempts to conceal Pyongyang's real role in the war.

Ukrainian forces captured recently two North Korean soldiers, who were later taken to Kyiv. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy showed a video of the communication with the prisoners.
