North Korean general injured in Kursk region - WSJ
A high-ranking North Korean general was wounded in the Kursk region. This happened during recent strikes by the Ukrainian military, according to The Wall Street Journal.
An anonymous Western official reported that a high-ranking North Korean general was injured during a recent Ukrainian strike in the Kursk region.
This is the first time Western officials have confirmed that a senior North Korean military figure became a victim of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
North Korean soldiers in Russia
This fall, North Korea sent troops to assist Russia. North Korean soldiers underwent training in Russian military training areas in the east, after which they were deployed near the Ukrainian border.
North Korean troops have already been involved in combat against Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. According to the Financial Times, North Korea also provided Russia with long-range missile and artillery systems.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that North Korea seeks to obtain technology from Russia in exchange for soldiers, particularly in missile, nuclear, and other military programs.
