No offer from Hamas to release hostages yet, Netanyahu
Hamas has not yet offered Israel a deal to release more than 200 hostages held by the militants since the first day of the war, said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"There was no offer and there was no deal," he said. "We want to bring back as many hostages as possible, and we are united in our interests here, we made the decision unanimously. There is fake news all the time."
Last week, Netanyahu reported the potential for a deal but refused to provide any details about it.
Israel's Operation in the Gaza Strip
Hamas has not yet offered Israel a deal to release more than 200 hostages held by the militants since the first day of the war, said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In early October, Hamas militants invaded Israel. They kidnapped and killed civilians.
In response, the Israel Defense Forces launched an operation against the terrorists. According to recent reports, Israeli ground forces have surrounded Gaza and are increasing pressure on the city.
At the same time, world leaders insist on the introduction of "humanitarian pauses" in Gaza, but Netanyahu said that until Hamas releases the hostages, there will be no ceasefire.
