Night strikes by Shahed drones on Ukraine: Air Force reveals air defense operations

Russian forces launched an attack on Ukrainian territory using Shahed kamikaze drones overnight on February 13. It is reported that Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down 16 drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
"On the night of February 13, 2024, the enemy attacked with 23 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation and Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea," the Ukrainian Air Force stated.
Air defense missile units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the aerial attack. It is reported that as a result of combat operations, 16 enemy strike drones were destroyed within the territories of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

Russian troops' attack near Dnipro on February 13
During the night of February 13, Russians attacked Dnipro with Shahed-type drones. Residents of the city heard explosions, and local authorities declared an air raid alert in the region. The Ukrainian Air Force reported several waves of strike drones and launches of two cruise missiles towards the city.
Later, it became known that due to the Russian attack on Dnipro, some areas of the city were left without electricity, heating, and water supply. It is known that municipal services are working on repairing the utilities.
