Night strike hits Kyiv metro infrastructure: What's known

Due to a massive overnight attack on the capital, metro trains on the green line are operating with changes. The funicular service has been temporarily suspended due to a power outage, according to the Kyiv City State Administration and Kyivpastrans.
Currently, train service on the green metro line is operating between the stations Syrets and Vydubychi, as well as between Osokorky and Chervonyi Khutir.
During an inspection of the open section of the green line, damage to a fence caused by the overnight shelling was discovered.
The Kyiv City State Administration said that additional information on the restoration of the green line’s operations will be provided later.
Trains on the red and blue lines are operating as usual.
Kyivpastrans also reported that the funicular service has been temporarily suspended due to the lack of electricity.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, due to an electricity shortage, trains on the red metro line in Kyiv are also operating with changes.
Train service is currently running between the following stations:

Akademmistechko – Arsenalna – interval of 7–9 minutes;

Darnytsia – Livoberezhna – Arsenalna – interval of 12 minutes.
The following stations are closed: Lisova, Chernihivska, Hidropark, and Dnipro.
Consequences of the attack on Kyiv on the night of January 24
As a reminder, Kyiv was under a combined Russian attack overnight.
At around 1:00 a.m. on January 24, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv due to the threat of drone strikes, after which explosions were heard in the city almost immediately. Later, Russian forces launched ballistic missiles toward the capital.
Subsequently, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported on the consequences of the attack:

in the Desnianskyi district, debris fell on a non-residential building;

in the Dniprovskyi district, debris from a drone caused a fire on the grounds of a garage cooperative, and a fuel tanker caught fire in a parking lot. In addition, debris shattered windows in a multi-story residential building;

in the Darnytskyi district, drone debris fell near a private medical facility, damaging windows in the building;

in the Holosiivskyi district, falling debris in a non-residential area caused a fire, while at another address windows were shattered in a private house;
-
in the Solomianskyi district, debris damaged a six-story office building.
On Kyiv’s left bank, there are disruptions to heating and water supply as a result of the large-scale Russian attack.
