Next round of Ukraine-Russia prisoner swaps coming next week, Zelenskyy says

Ukraine expects prisoner swaps with Russia to continue, at least for the next week, based on an existing agreement, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"We're working to bring back all of our people still held in Russian captivity. We expect the swaps to continue next week. At least, that's the current agreement," the Ukrainian President said.
Zelenskyy expressed hope that Russia would fulfill its part of these humanitarian commitments "and do so as agreed."
Prisoner swaps
Earlier on Saturday, June 14, Ukraine and Russia conducted their fourth prisoner swap in a week.
The Ukrainian President noted that many of the released had been in captivity since 2022. He said the group included soldiers from the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the State Special Transport Service.
Ukraine's Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War said some of those returned were injured or had serious health issues. A significant number were captured during the defense of Mariupol.
The group also included officers. Some of those freed are under the age of 25.
