The number of people injured in Kyiv has risen following Russia’s combined attack during the night of July 4. It was also reported that rescue teams have resumed search operations at the site of the strike, according to the Telegram channels of the State Emergency Service (SES) and the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

"As of now, we have two confirmed fatalities as a result of the latest attack. A man who had been wounded died in the hospital this morning. These people were killed by the Russians. The number of those injured has also increased," Tkachenko stated.

According to him, as of July 5, a total of 31 people are known to have been injured as a result of the Russian attack.

The State Emergency Service reported that as of 10:00, 1,360 tons of construction debris and structures have been cleared and removed. Rescue workers and specialized equipment continue to operate at the site.

Airstrike on Kyiv on the night of July 4

On the night of July 4, Russia launched a massive airstrike on Ukraine, deploying 550 weapons. These included 539 strike drones, one aeroballistic missile Kinzhal, six ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M or KN-23 type, as well as four cruise missiles Iskander-K.

The main strike targeted Kyiv. According to preliminary data, 26 people were injured as a result of the combined nighttime attack on Kyiv, including a 10-year-old child. It was also reported that two people were killed in the enemy attack.
