New ground drone Termit joins Ukrainian forces

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has approved a new domestic ground drone complex, Termit, for use in the Ukrainian armed forces, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It is noted that this is a new version of the ground drone. The previous tracked robotic complexes are already operating on the frontline. They are used for logistical tasks and monitoring enemy actions.
The Termit drones can also carry combat modules. The new version features improved dynamic characteristics and has potential for further upgrades.
It is reported that the Termit can carry up to 300 kg of cargo. Thanks to its low-profile silhouette, low center of gravity, and tracked design, the ground robot can operate on various types of terrain and surfaces. Its traction battery capacity allows for several hours of continuous operation, during which the robot can cover dozens of kilometers.
Depending on mission requirements, the Termit complex is produced in different configurations. There are platforms for medical evacuation, logistical support, mine-laying, and transporting additional equipment.
New drones in the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukrainian forces have recently received several new drones. The Ministry of Defense recently approved the domestic fiber-optic-based FPV aerial drone system Svitlovod for use in the Armed Forces.
In addition, the military has begun large-scale use of the new loitering munition MV-25 OSKAR, developed by French company KNDS France in cooperation with DELAIR and EOS Technologie.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that Ukrainian forces will begin using a new aerial drone system called Volyniaka. It is known that the new hexacopter is designed to target heavily armored objectives.
