New assault from the north: Russia launches 176 drones against Ukraine overnight

On the night of September 25, starting from 6:00 p.m. on September 24, the enemy launched an attack on Ukraine with 176 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones, according to the Air Force.
The attack was carried out from Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as from Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea. About 100 of the drones were Shaheds.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare, and drone units, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces shot down or suppressed 150 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the north, south, east, and center of the country.
Thirteen strike drones hit eight locations, while debris from downed drones fell at one location.
The attack is still ongoing. In addition, new groups of strike drones entered from the north. The Defense Forces urge civilians to follow safety measures.
