Netanyahu criticizes UK government for suspending arms exports to Israel
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has criticized the UK for suspending its arms export licenses to the Middle Eastern country, according to an interview the official gave to the Daily Mail.
Netanyahu noted that the previous British government under Rishi Sunak had supported Israel, while the current administration in London is sending mixed messages.
“They say that Israel has the right to defend itself, but they undermine our ability to exercise that right both by reversing Britain’s position on the absurd allegations made by the ICC Prosecutor against Israel and by blocking weapons sales to Israel as we fight against the genocidal terrorist organisation that carried out the October 7 massacre,” Netanyahu said.

In May of this year, the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, announced that the Court was seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. They are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
In early September, the UK suspended 30 licenses for arms exports to Israel, citing concerns that the IDF might use this weaponry in Gaza in violation of international law.
On September 18, Germany also suspended arms exports to Israel, citing legal cases related to accusations from Berlin.
