Nearly 50 injured after drone strike hits bus in Ukrainian Marhanets

The number of casualties continues to rise following a drone attack on a bus in Marhanets, Ukraine. Currently, 49 people have been reported injured, according to Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
"49 injured… This is the updated information regarding the aftermath of the Russian strike on Marhanets," Lysak stated.
According to him, 31 of the injured have been hospitalized.
"Four of them - two men and two women - are in serious condition," he added.
Russian strikes on Ukraine causing mass civilian casualties
Recently, Russian forces have intensified attacks on Ukraine with the intention of targeting more civilians.
On April 13, Palm Sunday, the Russian army launched a missile strike on Sumy. Fatalities were reported almost immediately. Around 35 people were killed and more than 120 were injured.
On April 4, Kryvyi Rih was hit twice. First, an Iskander missile was launched at the city, and later, drones were used. 20 people were killed and 68 others were injured as a result of the attack.
