Musk justifies Starlink shutdown near Crimea, vows to fight for America
American billionaire Elon Musk says he does not consider himself a traitor for disabling the Starlink system in the Crimea region, as he tweeted.
Musk says that he is a U.S. citizen and holds only an American passport. The U.S. has not declared war on Russia.
I am a citizen of the United States and have only that passport. No matter what happens, I will fight for and die in America.

The United States Congress has not declared war on Russia. If anyone is treasonous, it is those who call me such.
Please tell them that very clearly.
"No matter what happens, I will fight for and die in America. The United States Congress has not declared war on Russia. If anyone is treasonous, it is those who call me such," Musk stated.
Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that Musk's Starlink satellite communication is a vital tool for Ukraine.
Starlink in Ukraine
According to the latest data, Ukraine has received 42,000 Starlink satellite communication terminals since the beginning of the war, provided by SpaceX and Ukrainian partners.
On September 7, CNN posted an excerpt from a book about Elon Musk, which mentioned the disruption of an attack on the Russian fleet. Allegedly, the billionaire secretly ordered the shutdown of Starlink over Crimea to prevent an attack on the Russian ships.
Later, Musk himself stated that he did not issue such an order to his experts because Starlink did not operate there. The head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov confirmed that satellite internet did not work near Crimea for a certain period.
