In temporarily occupied Donetsk, powerful explosions were heard on the evening of November 5. Local channels reported a "missile strike," and it is known that the target may have been a Russian occupation army ammunition depot, according to messages from local channels.
It is reported that the explosions occurred in the evening in one of the districts of the occupied city — preliminarily, the Kuibyshevskyi district was under attack. The first explosion was accompanied by a strong shockwave and the sounds of numerous secondary detonations, which may indicate that a Russian ammunition depot was hit.
After the explosions, large plumes of smoke rose over the affected area, and a strong fire broke out. In the published videos, faint explosions can be heard — these are ammunition detonating that was not destroyed at the moment of impact.
There are no official confirmations yet from either the occupying authorities or Ukraine. It is unknown whether there are any injured or dead as a result of the strike. According to one version, the depot was hit by a missile strike; according to another, it was struck by a Ukrainian attack drone.

On the night of November 5, Ukrainian attack drones struck energy infrastructure in Russia’s Yaroslavl region. Oil pumping stations were targeted in the attack.
Additionally, on November 4, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit two important Russian facilities during the night — an oil refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region and a chemical plant in Bashkortostan. In addition, two substations in two Russian regions and an ammunition depot in temporarily occupied Dovzhansk in the Luhansk region were destroyed.
Earlier, another large ammunition depot was struck in Russia’s Belgorod region. This incident occurred on October 23, when Ukrainian drones reached the depot at night.
