Earthquakes in Ukraine
In early February 2026, residents of several regions of Ukraine felt an earthquake with its epicenter in the Black Sea.
In late May, experts recorded another tremor near the coast of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The first earthquake in June of this year was recorded in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
At the same time, seismologists warn that there remains a high probability of a strong earthquake in the Crimea region.
According to their estimates, tremors with a magnitude of up to 7 could recur on the peninsula by 2027.
