Moscow hit by explosions: Mayor Sobyanin says drones to blame

Explosions were heard in Moscow during the night of June 26. Local authorities claimed a drone attack and reported that air defense systems had been activated, according to Russian media.
According to Russian Telegram channels, explosions were heard in various districts of Moscow and the Moscow region.
“There was a UAV attack on Dedovsk in the Istrinsky district of the Moscow region, as well as on Zelenograd and the city of Moskovskoe in New Moscow. Within five minutes, at least five explosions were heard in the sky,” Russian media reports.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin claimed that the city was allegedly targeted by a drone attack.
Additionally, Russian authorities restricted operations at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, declaring Carpet Plan Kover, which is activated in response to an aerial threat.
Last night, on June 25, explosions were reported in Taganrog, Russia. Online sources mentioned the activation of air defense systems.
Andriy Kovalenko, head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation, stated that the Atlant-Aero enterprise in Taganrog was hit.
This factory specializes in manufacturing components for combat drones, control systems, electronic warfare complexes, and digital solutions for strike FPV drones and loitering munitions.
