During the night of July 15, Russia attacked Ukraine with two missiles and 122 attack drones. Ukraine's air defenses shot down most of the incoming drones, although some strikes got through, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

The Russians attacked with two Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles from the airspace over the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and 122 attack drones, including Shahed drones (including jet-powered variants), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy drones, launched from Kursk, Oryol, and Millerovo in Russia, as well as the temporarily occupied Donetsk region and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., Ukraine's air defenses had shot down or suppressed 101 enemy drones over the north, south, and east of the country.

Missile strikes and impacts from 18 attack drones were recorded at 19 locations. Debris from intercepted targets fell at seven locations.

"The attack is ongoing. Several enemy drones remain in the airspace. Please follow safety rules!" the Ukrainian Air Force warned.

In addition, at around 7:00 a.m., the enemy carried out another airstrike on the Odesa region.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

On the morning of July 15, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Odesa. The attack left people dead and injured, and damaged residential buildings.

Russian forces also attacked a gas station in the Malyn community of the Zhytomyr region.

In addition, on Tuesday, July 14, Russian forces struck a residential apartment building in Kharkiv with a kamikaze drone. The drone flew into an apartment on the third floor, causing a fire.
