More than 10 explosions heard: Russia reports drone attack on Moscow

In the Moscow region on the evening of Monday, September 22, explosions were reported. Russians are complaining about an attack by unidentified drones, according to local social media channels and Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
Around 7:30 PM local time, Russian Telegram channels began reporting sounds of explosions in the Moscow region and Moscow itself. Locals said they heard more than 10 blasts.
Later, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that the Russian capital had been attacked by unidentified drones.
According to him, the Russian Ministry of Defense allegedly successfully repelled the aerial attack. Specifically, the air defense reportedly shot down nine drones heading toward Moscow, and, according to preliminary information, no damage has been reported.
Drone attacks on Russia
On the night of July 19, explosions were heard in Moscow amid a drone attack. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin claimed that the drones were allegedly shot down before reaching the Russian capital.
Explosions were also reported in the Moscow region on July 18, with residents in Dmitrov complaining about drone strikes.
