'More successful our warriors are, the closer we move toward ending this war' - Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has commented on Russia's air attack on Ukraine on November 13, stating that the results of Ukraine's armed forces are directly contributing to the end of the war. The more successful results the Ukrainian military will achieve, the better it will be for the country, stated Zelenskky on his official Telegram channel.
"This morning, Russia launched yet another combined attack on our cities, and our air defense responded effectively. Russian missiles — including ballistic and cruise missiles targeting Kyiv — were shot down, along with drones. In total, around 90 strike drones attacked Ukraine," said Mr Zelenskyy.
The President of Ukraine also highlighted that it is crucial that Ukrainian forces have the necessary means to defend their country from Russian terror.
"I am grateful to each of our partners who help us. Timely delivery of interceptor missiles for our air defense, fulfilling agreements on defense systems, and electronic warfare production and supply are, without exaggeration, lifesaving efforts," emphasized Mr Zelenskyy.
Ukrainian leader stressed that every successful interception by Ukraine's air defense saves lives and protects critical infrastructure.
"The more successful our warriors are, the closer we move toward ending this war. This is how peace through strength is achieved," concluded Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In particular, the enemy targeted Kyiv, marking the first missile and drone strike on the capital in 73 days. Air defense successfully shot down several missiles and dozens of drones heading toward the city.
In addition, a fire broke out at a warehouse in the Brovary district of Kyiv region, resulting in one person being injured. Air defense units shot down Russian Shahed drones in the region.
The Russian military also launched strikes on Zaporizhzhia on the night of November 13, damaging infrastructure facilities.
