As the media reports, at approximately 9:00 PM, an explosion was heard in the lobby of an apartment building on Rue Revérend-Père-Louis-Folla.

Preliminarily, an unknown man left a package or backpack with explosives there and then fled. The explosion occurred immediately after several people arrived in the lobby.

The Department of Fire Safety and Rescue received information about the incident at approximately 9:15 PM and immediately dispatched five vehicles and about 15 firefighters.

According to Nice Matin, three people were injured in the explosion, and all of them, preliminarily, are members of the same family who hold Ukrainian citizenship.

The victims are a man and a woman aged 50 to 60, as well as a teenager. The first two were taken to the Pasteur Hospital in Nice, while the minor was taken to the Lenval Hospital.

The head of the government of Monaco, Christophe Mirmand, suggested that the incident could have been a terrorist attack. He also told AFP that the explosive device likely contained bolts and shrapnel.

The official added that the police were then collecting evidence and that, as far as he knew, it was the first time in the history of the principality that something like that had happened.

Other incidents

On January 30 of this year, it became known that the well-known Ukrainian banker Oleksandr Adarich died under mysterious circumstances in Milan (Italy).

Media reports said he fell out of the window of a five-story building on Nerino Street. However, a few months later, the investigation concluded that he was strangled. In other words, he did not fall by accident.

On May 21, 2925, in the Spanish municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcón, the former deputy head of the administration of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Portnov, was killed. He was shot with a pistol, and the suspect was detained six months later.
