The Moldovan president emphasized that the consequences of such disasters have no borders.
"Disasters know no borders — just like solidarity. Moldova supports those who build, not those who destroy," she added.
As a reminder, on the anniversary of the Chornobyl nuclear disaster, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda called for increased international pressure on Russia and the imposition of sanctions against Rosatom. According to him, Russia is using nuclear energy as a tool of influence, creating security risks.
He stressed that the world must act decisively to prevent such disasters from happening again.
