Moldova denies claim Ukrainian border guards can enter its territory

Moldova's Border Police have denied information from Telegram claiming that Ukrainian border guards can allegedly enter the country's territory up to 1.5 km to pursue violators, NewsMaker reports.
In Moldova, this information was described as false and biased.
"The Border Police act strictly within the framework of national legislation and bilateral agreements between Moldova and Ukraine, not allowing violations of the sovereignty or territorial integrity of any state. In cases of attempted illegal border crossings, the Border Police take measures provided by law," the police said.
The border guards urged citizens to read information only from official sources and not to spread false reports that could cause confusion and mistrust in society.
Earlier in Moldova, a Russian fake about the extradition of Ukrainian men was refuted.
