MoD: Ukraine's victory won't be 'Christmas miracle from Hollywood movie'
Ukraine's victory in the war against Russia won't be a Christmas miracle from a Hollywood movie. It will be the result of "mutual work", thinks Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov.
The Minister extended Christmas greetings to Ukrainians, emphasizing that such days are a time of unity for the entire Ukrainian family.
"Hundreds of thousands of defenders celebrate Christmas in trenches and observation posts along the entire front line, in combat vehicles, tanks, evacuation medical vehicles, near cannons, MLRS, and air defense systems. They are there so that the Christmas light shines in millions of Ukrainian homes. They are there to drive the darkness away from cities and villages in temporarily occupied territories," said Umerov.
He added that Ukrainian defenders provide hope, and hope gives strength to the Ukrainian people to stand united. The unity of the Ukrainian family defends our soldiers.
"Our victory will not be a Christmas miracle from a Hollywood movie. It will be the result of our mutual work," emphasized the Minister.
According to Umerov, those who bear arms on the front line and those who support them from behind contribute to bringing victory closer. This includes those who supply the military with everything they need and those who acquire their first military specialties in training centers.
The Minister of Defense expressed gratitude to everyone helping Ukraine achieve victory.
Previously, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that the Russian war against Ukraine is not a Hollywood movie.
