A Russian missile fell in Chernihiv region on Sunday, March 16. Additionally, Russians attacked the city council of the border town of Semenivka with a drone, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, informs on Telegram.

"Today, during an air raid alert, an enemy ballistic missile — likely an Iskander — fell outside a settlement in the Semenivka community," Chaus stated.

He also reported an FPV drone attack on the border community of Semenivka in Chernihiv region. The city council building was hit, and parts of the settlement are without electricity. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.

Earlier, on the night of March 16, Russian forces launched drone attacks on Chernihiv. One enemy drone struck a five-story residential building, destroying two floors. The attack caused a fire, but fortunately, no one was injured.

Additionally, during a repeated drone assault on the city, patrol officers came under fire.

In total, Russia launched 90 drones across Ukraine that night. Air defense forces shot down 47 of them, while 33 more — identified as decoy drones — were lost from radar without causing damage.
