Missile attack on Izium: Number of injured rises to 50, mostly government staff
The number of people injured in today's strike on Izium, Kharkiv region, has risen to 50. Most of them are government employees, according to the Telegram channel of the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to preliminary data, Russia struck the city with an Iskander missile. The attack resulted in the deaths of:
- a 44-year-old man;
- a 69-year-old man;
- two women and another man whose identities are being established.
The number of injured has risen to 50, including three children.

"Most of the injured are employees of the tax service, the Children's Affairs Service, the state enforcement department, the medical college, and other institutions," Syniehubov wrote.
During the shelling, the administrative building of the Izium City Council was partially destroyed, and an administrative building, along with the windows of three residential apartment buildings, was damaged.
Russian strike on Izium
Today, February 4, Russian forces struck the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region. Initially, reports indicated four deaths and around 20 injuries, but the number of casualties continued to rise.
Later, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared a video showing the aftermath of the enemy attack. He called for increased pressure on Russia and urged support for Ukraine with weapons.
