A small plane, registered to Terry Dolan, vice chair and chief administration officer of US Bank, crashed into a house on Saturday afternoon, setting the building on fire. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the plane was en route from Des Moines International Airport (Iowa) to Anoka County-Blaine Airport (Minneapolis).
Firefighters arrived at the scene around 12:20 p.m. local time, finding the house fully engulfed in flames. The plane was discovered only after the fire was contained. One person who was inside the house at the time of the crash managed to escape unharmed. According to Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Shawn Conway, the house was completely destroyed.

Recent plane crashes in the US
Recently, the US has witnessed several small plane crashes. In February, a Learjet 55 light aircraft crashed near Philadelphia, close to the Roosevelt Mall shopping center, causing fires in several homes and damaging vehicles. Six people were on board, including two pilots and two doctors. Their fate remains unknown.
Another plane crash occurred in Pennsylvania in March when a Beechcraft Bonanza crashed in a residential area of Lancaster County, damaging five cars and causing a fire in the Brethren Village retirement community. NBC News reported that all five passengers sustained injuries and were taken to hospitals. The pilot had reported a technical issue shortly before the crash.
