Million-dollar target: Ukrainian military destroys Russian coastal radar Predel-E
Ukrainian forces have successfully destroyed a unique enemy target in the Kherson region. The target was a mobile over-the-horizon radar station with enhanced stealth capabilities known as Predel-E, according to the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.
"The mobile coastal over-the-horizon radar station with enhanced stealth capabilities known as Predel-E—this is how ambitiously and grandiosely the Russians presented the novelty of their military-industrial complex to a narrow circle of experts in June of this year," the message states.
It is noted that later, in a "completely secret" mode, it was directed to the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to track the actions of Ukrainian fighters both at sea and on land.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the modern and expensive enemy complex
"And although the exclusive Predel-E was covering the quite modern electronic warfare complex Leer-2, there's nothing they can hide from us on our land," stated the Southern Defense Forces.
And already in August, Ukrainian soldiers completely destroyed the unique development worth 200 million dollars, along with its protective complex.
Successful operations of the Ukrainian military
Today, it was reported that Ukrainian troops for the first time destroyed a rare Russian electronic warfare complex Sveet-KU behind enemy lines.
Also, in the temporarily occupied town of Energodar (the Zaporizhzhia region), on August 28, an improvised "barracks" of the Russian National Guard unit Akmat-1 was detonated. As a result, personnel of the Russian military suffered injuries.
