Ukrainian military destroyed a rare Russian radio-electronic warfare complex, Sveet-KU, for the first time behind enemy lines, according to Yaroslav "Loki" Oliynyk, an advisor to the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine.

According to him, Sveet-KU had been spotted in Ukraine three times before - in 2016, 2020, and 2021, all within the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region. However, this time the complex was discovered behind enemy lines, where Russians did not expect it to be found.

Oliynyk added that this is the first recorded destruction of Sveet-KU.

Sveet-KU is the RB-636 complex that was adopted by the Russian army in 2012. It is designed to assess the electromagnetic environment and search for, detect, and rapidly analyze radio emissions. The complex can also monitor the situation and protect data from leaks in wireless communication channels.

Ukrainian intelligence recently revealed details of operations in the occupied Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of Defense Intelligence actions, the so-called deputy head of the occupation administration, Alexander Reimer, and a group of Russians were affected.
