The US aerospace company Maxar Technologies has cut off Ukraine's access to its satellite imagery due to an administrative request, according to Militarnyi.

The disconnection was the result of the United States government's ban on providing Ukraine with intelligence. The decision of the administration of White House President Donald Trump applies to both government and private users.

The cyber community CyberBoroshno also announced the closure of access to satellite intelligence, but did not specify which service it was referring to. At the same time, it announced in its comments that access to the main service of Maxar Technologies had been withdrawn.

Maxar Technologies

Maxar Technologies played an important role in supporting Ukraine by providing high-quality satellite imagery that helped track the movement of Russian troops, record destruction, and document Russian war crimes. Their satellites recorded the accumulation of military equipment on the border even before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, as well as the aftermath of Russian attacks, for example, in Bucha and Mariupol.

In 2023, Maxar Technologies showed villages in the Donetsk region after months of Russian massive strikes.
