Massive Shahed drone attack hits Zaporizhzhia - Aftermath

Russia launched a massive Shahed drone attack on Zaporizhzhia last night. There is damage in the private sector as well as to critical infrastructure, according to a statement from Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
"One person was injured, and critical infrastructure facilities and private homes were damaged - Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia with at least seven Shahed drones," Fedorov wrote.
According to him, the Russians struck the city’s residential area. A house was damaged, and critical infrastructure facilities were also affected, causing fires.
Additionally, a woman was injured in the attack and is receiving medical care.
Around 4:00 AM Kyiv time, Fedorov reported explosions in the Zaporizhzhia region, followed by information about damage to critical infrastructure.
Night attack on Ukraine
On Saturday evening, the Russian army launched groups of strike drones across Ukraine. The air forces warned about drone movements in the eastern, central, and northern regions.
Around 2:00 AM Kyiv time on Sunday, June 1, Russia carried out ballistic missile strikes. Explosions were reported, including in Kyiv.
A few hours later, Kyiv’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, announced that the city’s air defenses were active as Kyiv was under drone attack.
