On the evening of May 31, Russians once again launched drones over Ukrainian territory. The military is detecting UAVs in various regions, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, the first drones detected that evening were heading toward Dnipropetrovsk from the Donetsk region, as well as moving southwest in the Sumy region. This information was reported at 9:12 PM Kyiv time and 9:14 PM Kyiv time.

The Air Force warned of drones moving in the direction of Chernihiv, Kryvyi Rih, and Dnipro.

Russia launched drones at Ukraine, areas under threat of attackLater, the military reported that drones had been detected in the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions. Additionally, drones were spotted over the Black Sea heading toward the Odesa region. This can be seen in the photo below.

According to the latest data as of 10:46 PM Kyiv time, the movement of the Russian drones was as follows:

  • A group of UAVs from the Dnipropetrovsk region is heading toward the Kirovohrad region;

  • Several UAV groups in the eastern part of the Dnipropetrovsk region are moving westward;

  • Several UAV groups in the eastern Kharkiv region are also heading west;

  • UAVs from the Kharkiv region are moving toward the Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions;

  • UAVs in the northern part of the Chernihiv region are moving southwest;

  • A group of UAVs from the Kherson region is heading toward Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions;

  • UAVs over the Black Sea are moving toward the Odesa region.

Regions with air raid alert declared

As of 10:55 PM Kyiv time, the air raid alert map shows active alerts in the following regions: Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, and Donetsk.

Drone launch last night

During the night of May 31, Russian forces launched 109 attack drones against Ukraine, including 2 jet-powered UAVs.

As of 08:30 AM Kyiv time, air defense forces had destroyed 69 drones, while another 30 were locally lost or suppressed by electronic warfare.
