Massive Russian bombing of Kostiantynivka: Casualties reported

The Russian army carried out massive airstrikes on Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region on Wednesday, February 19. The attack resulted in casualties, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine report.
As Serhii Horbunov, Head of the Kostiantynivka City Military Administration, noted, an airstrike on Kostiantynivka was recorded today at 00:10 a.m. Kyiv time. As a result of the attack, a civilian was killed, and another person was injured. There was information about a possible person being under the rubble.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports that after the night airstrike, the bodies of two dead victims were found under the rubble, and rescuers extinguished the fire. Two more people were injured.

Also today, at around 08:50 a.m. Kyiv time, Russian forces again carried out two airstrikes on Kostiantynivka. The enemy bombs hit a residential area in the settlement. Three women and a 65-year-old man were injured in the attack. They were diagnosed with mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds, and concussions.
Seven minutes later, the Russians carried out four more strikes, hitting the private sector.
Due to the repeated attack, two women, aged 55 and 67, suffered contusions and concussions. They were given medical assistance, and the condition of one of the victims is assessed as serious.
The Prosecutor's Office suggests that the enemy used six FAB-250 aerial bombs with unified gliding and correction modules. In Kostiantynivka, four apartment buildings, 34 private houses, power lines, gas pipelines, and cars were damaged.
The Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, notes that in the morning the Russians dropped four guided aerial bombs on the city.
Law enforcement opened a criminal case for committing a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Night attack on Ukraine
During the night of February 19, Russia launched 167 drones and two ballistic missiles at Ukraine. The missiles were directed at the Sumy region.
The air defense forces destroyed 106 drones. Another 56 drones were lost locally.
That night, the Russians massively attacked Odesa and the region with drones. An energy facility was hit. The attack caused damage to civil infrastructure, including a children's clinic, a kindergarten, houses, and cars. 4 people were injured, including one child.
After the attack, local power outages were introduced in part of the Odesa district.
