A large-scale fire broke out at one of Russia’s largest oil refineries in Perm, according to OSINT channels and eyewitness reports on social media.
What is known about the fire
According to available information, the fire engulfed the LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez plant. It is one of Russia’s largest oil refineries.
Social media users write that the fire started after a strike on the territory of the facility.
There has been no official confirmation from authorities or the company so far.

Attacks on Russian oil refineries
On the morning of July 29, drones launched a massive attack on the Russian city of Ryazan, where a Wildberries warehouse and a local oil refinery caught fire.
The region’s governor confirmed fires at industrial sites in the city.
Earlier, the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, known by the call sign "Madyar," said that since the beginning of 2026, SBS units had struck a number of oil refineries in Ryazan, Yaroslavl, Tuapse, Saratov, and Volgograd.
At the time, he was referring to hundreds of damaged military and energy facilities deep inside Russia.
