Nighttime attacks on November 1
During the night, the Russian army also struck Mykolaiv with ballistic missiles. As of 8:30 a.m., several people were reported injured, but authorities have not disclosed further details.
Chernihiv region also came under enemy fire that night. A drone strike on the premises of an agricultural enterprise in the town of Koriukivka caused a hangar to catch fire.
Attacks on gas production facilities
As previously reported by Naftogaz, throughout October Russian forces carried out seven attacks on civilian gas infrastructure in the Poltava region.
The latest strike occurred on the night of October 28. According to RBC-Ukraine, gas production facilities in the region were damaged in those attacks.
"The sites targeted by Russia have no military purpose. The only goal of these strikes is to deprive Ukrainians of gas and heat. I want to thank all my colleagues who are working to restore the facilities damaged by Russian attacks," said Oleksii Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
