Massive attack on Ukraine: Russia targets Naftogaz facilities
Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine using drones and missiles on November 28, targeting, among other sites, facilities of the national oil and gas enterprise Naftogaz, the official Telegram channel of the company reports.
"This morning (November 28 - ed.), the enemy once again attacked facilities of the Naftogaz Group," the statement said.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
"The attack will not affect the provision of services to Ukrainian consumers and clients of the Group," the company's press service noted.
Massive Russian attack on Ukraine
On November 28, Russian forces struck Ukraine, using nearly 200 missiles and drones. The Ukrainian air defense destroyed most enemy targets. This attack was the second massive strike in November and the eleventh in 2024.
The main targets were energy facilities across Ukraine. As Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted, Russia used "Kalibr" missiles equipped with cluster munitions.
Due to the shelling of energy facilities, emergency power outages were introduced. They have already been canceled. The massive attack also resulted in casualties in the Kyiv and Odesa regions.
