Majority of crew failed to escape: Ukraine's intelligence on Tsezar Kunikov destruction
Most of the crew of the Russian large landing ship Tsezar Kunikov, which was destroyed in the Black Sea, could not be saved, according to Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
"According to preliminary information, the majority of the crew of the ship Tsezar Kunikov did not manage to escape. The ship was carrying cargo - ammunition. Tsezar Kunikov was completely destroyed, it sank and cannot be restored," he said.
According to Yusov, the explosions, which were reported by eyewitnesses during the operation to destroy the ship, could be explosions of ammunition on board the ship.
"We have not yet reported on additional affected targets," Yusov said.

In the morning the Russian Ministry of Defense reported about the repulsed drone attack. According to the enemy agency, a total of nine Ukrainian drones were allegedly intercepted and destroyed.
Of them, two are over the Belgorod region, one over the Voronezh region, and six over the Black Sea.
Later, information spread through the networks that a large Russian amphibious ship was attacked in the Black Sea. Yes, the explosions in Crimea began after 6:00 a.m. near Alupka. Locals claim that an alarm sounded on the ship, after which the explosions began. A detonation was heard, and thick smoke fell from the place. Corresponding shots with smoke in the sea spread on the network.
Later, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that in the Black Sea in the morning, the Defense Intelligence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the large Russian amphibious assault ship Tsezar Kunikov.
Local Telegram channels wrote that after the attack on Crimea, the Russian landing ship went to the bottom.
