Russia is "locking itself ever deeper into the logic of war and terror." However, Ukraine and its partners continue to do everything possible to secure a just peace, French President Emmanuel Macron said.

He noted that overnight, Russia once again launched hundreds of drones and a dozen missiles across Ukraine indiscriminately, hitting residential areas and government buildings.

Macron expressed condolences to the families of the victims. He also stressed that France stands in solidarity with Ukraine and its people.

"Together with Ukraine and our partners, we stand for peace. Russia, meanwhile, is locking itself ever deeper into the logic of war and terror. By Ukraine's side, we will continue to do everything to ensure that a just and lasting peace prevails," he emphasized.

Massive Russian strike on Ukraine

Last night, Russia carried out a massive strike on Ukrainian cities. Kyiv, Kremenchuk, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Kryvyi Rih were attacked.

In the capital, residential buildings and the Cabinet of Ministers building were damaged. In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a nine-story building was hit. Two people were killed, and more than 20 were injured.

In Kremenchuk, Russian forces struck the Kryukiv Bridge over the Dnipro River, which is managed by Ukrzaliznytsia. Traffic on the bridge is currently limited.

In Odesa, the Russian army damaged residential buildings. Three people were injured.
