French President Emmanuel Macron will participate in the Coalition of the Willing leaders' meeting, which will take place tomorrow, May 10, in Ukraine, The Guardian reports.

According to Macron, the meeting will be held in a hybrid format: some leaders will attend in person, while others will join online for security reasons. He did not specify in which format he would participate.

The French leader also commented on Russia's display of strength at the Victory Day parade.

"President Putin is on the side of war, not on the side of peace," he said.

According to him, Putin's actions demonstrate that any beliefs about Russia's interest in peace are "wrong at this stage." At the same time, European partners, along with the US, will continue to insist on a ceasefire.

Macron also responded to the presence of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico at Putin's parade. The French leader noted that he wasn't sure this was the best interpretation of European history.
