Macron and Zelenskyy to meet right after Trump-Putin summit

The Presidents of France and Ukraine have agreed on a future meeting. It will take place after the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, according to BFM TV.
Before the evening meeting between President Trump and Putin, French leader Emmanuel Macron actively discussed the situation in Ukraine with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"There is close and constant dialogue between them," said sources close to the French President.
The Presidents agreed to hold their meeting at a convenient time after the summit, although the specific date and place have not yet been determined.
"President Macron and President Zelenskyy agreed to meet at a convenient time after Alaska," the presidential palace said.
Zelenskyy has already visited his allies in Germany and England, but has not stopped in France.
Trump's meeting with Putin
Tonight in Alaska, the long-awaited summit between US President Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin will take place.
The meeting is taking place against the backdrop of Russia's ongoing war in Ukraine and the deterioration of relations between Moscow and the West.
The American side had already announced its readiness to raise the issue of a possible exchange of territories between Ukraine and Russia, which caused concern in Kyiv and among US allies in Europe.
However, the Pentagon emphasizes that the US position on supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity remains unchanged.
The White House announced that the summit will begin at 11 a.m. Alaska time.
The meeting will be held behind closed doors, without access to the media, but official statements and press conferences for both sides are expected after the summit.
