French President Emmanuel Macron spoke with US President Donald Trump. This occurred ahead of the "Coalition of the Willing" Summit on Ukraine, Lefigaro reports.

The Élysée Palace did not specify exactly when Macron spoke with Trump, only stating that it took place the day before the Summit of Ukraine's allied countries.

Lefigaro's source reports that the conversation between the leaders of France and the US took place after Macron's meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the evening on Wednesday, March 26.

"Coalition of the Willing" Summit

Today, March 27, in Paris, the Summit of Ukraine's allied countries that have joined the "Coalition of the Willing" is taking place. This coalition includes countries ready to send troops for a peacekeeping contingent or provide other assistance to ensure peace in Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire.

Representatives from over 20 countries gathered at the Summit, including EU countries, the UK, Canada, Norway, and Türkiye. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also participated in the Summit.

Earlier, the media reported that the UK is ready to send 10,000 troops to Ukraine. Ukrainian authorities emphasized that they want the foreign contingent to provide security not only on land but also at sea and in the air.
