Ukraine support summit begins in France

A meeting of leaders to support Ukraine has begun in Paris. The meeting will focus on strengthening the Ukrainian army and other issues, the Ukrainian President's Office says.
According to the President, during the meeting, the summit participants will discuss continued support for Ukraine, as well as strengthening the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the country's defense industry, which are among the main guarantees of security.
"They will separately address all issues related to the peace negotiation process and the mechanisms for implementing the first steps of the ceasefire. The leaders will also discuss the prospect of deploying guarantee forces in Ukraine as part of a future peace settlement backed by the United States," Zelenskyy added.
Summit in Paris on March 27
On March 26, Zelenskyy arrived in France. During his visit, he has already met with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The meeting took place at the Elysee Palace before the summit of the “coalition of the willing” and its details are currently unknown.
According to Sky News, the summit will be attended by delegations and leaders of 31 countries. The meeting will be chaired by the French President and the British Prime Minister.
