Lviv under attack: Smoke, blackouts and transport problems hit city

In several districts of Lviv, electricity was partially cut off due to a massive enemy strike. Public transportation in the city has also been suspended, according to the Telegram channel of Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi.
"Part of Lviv is without power. This includes the Riasne and Levandivka districts. We are clarifying the details," the mayor said.
In addition, Sadovyi noted that due to the massive enemy attack, public transportation in Lviv is currently not operating on its routes.
"Please stay safe! Going outside is dangerous right now," the mayor added.
Fires and air pollution
After the enemy attack, several large fires continue in Lviv, with columns of black smoke rising over the city.
Mayor Andrii Sadovyi reported that there is currently no confirmed information about hazardous emissions, but he advised residents to keep their windows closed and remain in safe places.
"After the Russian strikes, several fires are still burning in the city, so it is important to protect yourself from possible harmful fumes and smoke. Do not rush outside immediately after the air raid alert ends. Emergency services are already on site," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
