The mayor again reported that air defense is active in the city. At the same time, he urged people not to stand near windows or on the streets, and not to watch mobile strike teams shoot down enemy drones.
"Shell casings from heavy machine guns can travel at high speed and take your health or even your life," he explained.
Attacks on Lutsk
This is not the first Russian attack on Lutsk. On the night of June 6, the enemy launched over 400 drones and more than 40 missiles of various types across Ukraine.
Directly targeting Lutsk, Russia fired 15 drones and 6 missiles, and the city suffered the most damage from that attack.
As a result, residential buildings, vehicles, and educational institutions were damaged. In addition, missiles hit a hotel where members of Ukraine’s national athletics team were staying.
It is also reported that two people were killed in Lutsk as a result of the attack.
