On the morning of January 18, Russia launched a ballistic attack on Kyiv. In the Lukianivka area of the Shevchenkivskyi district, a pipeline, buildings, and vehicles were damaged. What Lukianivka in Kyiv looks like after Russia's attack is detailed below in the RBC-Ukraine report.

According to the State Emergency Service (DSNS), as a result of Russia’s attack in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, an administrative building, a business center, and a store were partially destroyed. A fire broke out in one of the buildings, but it has been localized.

Additionally, at least three vehicles caught fire due to the shelling, and according to rescue services, another 10 vehicles were damaged.

As of 8:20, three fatalities have been reported in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.

In Lukianivka, a main pipeline was damaged due to Russia's attack, causing a water leak. As a result, streets and roads were flooded.

Specialists from Kyivvodokanal have localized the pipeline damage. Pressure in the network is gradually being restored, but some consumers are still without water supply.

The Lukianivska metro station was also heavily damaged during the attack.

"It is currently closed for entry and exit. Trains are passing through without stopping at the station," said Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.

Air raid sirens were activated in Kyiv at 5:50 AM due to the threat of a ballistic attack, with the city’s air defense systems engaged.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire broke out during the enemy strike, and a pipeline was damaged. The Kyiv Military Administration reported that one person was killed in the area, with the death toll later rising to three.

Additionally, debris was recorded falling in the Desnianskyi district.
