Local citizens have stated that there were "loud" explosions in the center of the city, which is currently under occupation by the aggressor.

For instance, on September 18, there were reports of explosions in the city, with locals mentioning that the administration building of the so-called leader of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, was hit.
Before this, there were reports of "incidents" in Donetsk, with smoke rising in the railway station area.
