Lithuania's Minister of Defense Dovilė Šakalienė announced that Lithuania plans to transfer 4,500 drones to Ukraine, with a total value of 5 million euros.

"I am proud to share that Lithuania is sending 4,500 drones worth 5 million euros to Ukraine this week.," Šakalienė wrote.

The Lithuanian government has also approved a new, faster procedure for transferring military aid to expedite support. These changes will significantly reduce the time required for procedures, ensuring rapid delivery of assistance to Ukraine.

Lithuania’s assistance to Ukraine

At the end of the year, it was revealed that Denmark, France, and Lithuania collectively provided 150 million euros for Ukrainian weaponry. The funds will be allocated for the production of missiles, drones, and artillery systems. Subsequently, it became known that Lithuania will send the first tranche for the production of weapons in Ukraine.

More details about this can be found in RBC-Ukraine's report.

Additionally, it was reported that thousands of drones intended for Ukraine are stuck in Lithuania's warehouses.
