The Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of Lithuania continue to provide ongoing military support to Ukraine. Vilnius has transferred a new batch of aid to Kyiv, according to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.

The Lithuanian Armed Forces have delivered several million rounds of ammunition and several thousand units of anti-tank weapons ammunition for short-range rocket-propelled grenade launchers to Ukraine. Additionally, around a thousand complex folding beds were included in the shipment.

"We hear Ukraine's urgent requests and continue to provide support according to the stated needs. We actively encourage our allies to do the same," stated Lithuanian Minister of Defense Arvydas Anušauskas.

Lithuania has already devised a long-term support plan. For the years 2024-2026, a new package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 200 million euros is planned.

Aid to Ukraine from Lithuania

Lithuania is one of Ukraine's allies, assisting Kyiv not only with weapons and military equipment but also by training Ukrainian military personnel.

On November 10, Lithuania provided Ukraine with two launchers for the NASAMS air defense missile system, necessary equipment, and off-road vehicles for the crew.

On November 17, Lithuania delivered a package of military aid to Ukraine, including a shipment of generators, field beds, and dry rations.
