Lithuanian Minister of Defense Dovilė Šakalienė has confirmed that the drone that crashed on the country’s territory yesterday was a Russian Gerbera UAV, LRT reports.

"We can confirm that it was a Gerbera. This type of drone can be used for various purposes. We are currently investigating what it was intended for," the Minister said.

At the same time, Šakalienė noted that there is no confirmation yet that the drone was intentionally sent into Lithuanian territory.

Military Arūnas Kumpis, who fought on Ukraine's side, also confirmed the drone crash. However, he refrained from making final conclusions about the drone's exact type.
