Le Pen warns of revoking Ukraine's permission to use French weapons to strike Russia
The pro-Russian leader of the French far-right, Marine Le Pen, stated that a prime minister from her party would not allow Kyiv to use French long-range weapons for strikes against Russia, CNN informs.
According to her, as soon as National Rally representative Jordan Bardella becomes prime minister, he "would prevent Kyiv using French-supplied long-range weapons to strike inside Russia." Additionally, there will be no question of sending French troops to Ukraine.
"If Emmanuel Macron wants to send troops to Ukraine and the prime minister is against it, then there are no troops sent to Ukraine. The prime minister has the final say," she said.
Parliamentary elections in France
After the National Rally significantly defeated President Emmanuel Macron's Renaissance party in the European Parliament elections, Macron announced the dissolution of the parliament.
Last weekend, the first round of elections was held, in which the National Rally received 33.14% of the votes, while the pro-presidential bloc garnered only 20.04%.
At the beginning of February, Macron stated that France was considering sending Western troops to Ukraine. This initiative faced criticism from several EU countries, and later Macron proposed creating a coalition of military instructors from the EU in Ukraine.
